How to cancel your Resume Nerd Subscription

While we continuously strive to offer the most effective job tools, you may, however, cancel your subscription at any time. We have three methods of canceling—visit our site, call our customer service team or send an email to our customer service team. For more details on how to cancel, please follow the instructions below.

To cancel your Resume Nerd subscription online:

  • Log into your account using your ResumeNerd username and password.

  • At the top right corner of your screen, next to the notification bell, click on the user icon and then “Manage Account”.

  • Click on the “Cancel Subscription” button.

  • Please confirm your selection by clicking “Yes, cancel my account”.

  • You will receive your confirmation with a cancellation number by email. Please keep this email for your records and future reference.

To cancel your Resume Nerd subscription via phone:

  • Contact our Customer Service team by calling the applicable number below.

  • Request cancellation.

  • Provide reason for cancellation.

  • You will receive your confirmation with a cancellation number by email. Please keep this email for your records and future reference.

To cancel your Resume Nerd subscription via email:

  • Contact our Customer Service team by sending an email to help@resumenerd.com.

  • Request cancellation in writing.

  • Provide reason for cancellation.

  • You will receive your confirmation with a cancellation number by email. Please keep this email for your records and future reference.

ResumeNerd Fees

As long as your subscription remains active, your financial obligation to pay all ResumeNerd fees will continue for the duration of the subscription period until your subscription is officially canceled. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed. Any refund ResumeNerd approves will be credited to the payment method used when you were first charged.

ResumeNerd Resume Storing Service

ResumeNerd offers a resume and cover letter storing service free of charge as part of being a Registered User and having an active Account in our system. As long as you have an active ResumeNerd username and password you will be able to access the resume and cover letter documents that you’ve created or uploaded into our system.

However, as a ResumeNerd Registered User, you will always have access to view your documents, but you will not have the ability to edit, print or share unless you reactivate your ResumeNerd subscription. Despite the cancellation of your subscription, the storing service will still be available to you. Simply come back to the ResumeNerd site at any time and your documents will be waiting for you to reactivate your account.

Why did I not receive a cancellation/refund/subscription confirmation email?

Your confirmation email may have inadvertently been redirected into your email’s spam or junk folder. This is sometimes the case based on your email preferences.

After I cancel, can I request that you delete my resume and cover letter documents?

Yes! If you do not want us to retain your documents, you can request that your data be deleted by clicking here or contacting our ResumeNerd Customer Service team.

I see charges on my bank statement but I do not recall subscribing to ResumeNerd. Who can I discuss the charges with
